Coupon Codep>SPC Ardmona has landed a company-changing $70 million contract with Woolworths just weeks after warnings the federal government's decision to deny the troubled fruit and tomato processor a $25m bailout could force it to close and cost hundreds of jobs.
SPC, a subsidiary of the stockmarket-listed Coca-Cola Amatil, said yesterday the failure to land the government investment had actually worked in its favour, with the company buoyed by new-found consumer enthusiasm for its products.
